El Nuevo Crédito de Impuestos de Ingreso del Estado

¡Es tu dinero: Consiguelo!

¡Crédito de Impuestos de Ingreso ayuda a trabajadores de bajos ingresos!

Querido amigo/a,

EITCCalifornia is offering an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for working low-income families and individuals. In addition to the federal EITC, the new state Earned Income Tax Credit will put more money in the pockets of those who need it most.

See below for more qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • You must file a state tax return, even if you do not owe any tax or are not otherwise required to file.
  • You must have earned income from W-2 wages, salaries, tips, or other employee compensation subject to California withholding. (For the CA EITC, earned income does not include income from self-employment.)
  • You, your spouse, and any qualifying children must each have a social security number issued by the Social Security Administration that is valid for employment.
  • You must file using the single, married/registered domestic partner (RDP) filing jointly, or head of household filing status. The “married/RDP filing separately” status may not be used.

Participate in Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week

Red-Ribbon Week is a valuable program that educates grade school students about the dangers of substance abuse, both legal and illegal substances, and the damage it can cause to them, as well as to their families and friends. It is so important that we encourage kids at an early age to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

This year, Red-Ribbon Week takes place from October 23 through October 29. There will be activities in the schools listed below and communities throughout the Assembly District from October 23 through October 29. If you would like to participate in this important effort, contact my office at (310) 324-6408 and we will get you the information. And remember, my office will also have certificates and bookmarks available for this effort.
