(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Mike Gipson (D-Carson) had the State Assembly adjourn its January 30, 2017 floor session in the memory of Melba Joyce Reed. Reed, a resident of Los Angeles since 1944, graduated from Los Angeles City College before beginning her 36 year long career as a Social Worker for DPSS.
