SACRAMENTO, Calif --- On Monday June 5, 2017, Los Tres Cochinitos was honored by Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson (D-Carson) at California Small Business Day™ as Small Business of the Year in Assembly District 64. Los Tres Cochinitos was celebrated for their hard work and dedication to the community.

California Small Business Day honored 85 small businesses for their contribution to the state’s economy. Small business contributes to 75 percent of California’s gross state product and over half of the state’s private sector jobs. From hardware stores to manufacturers, small businesses are engrained in California’s communities and economy.
“California’s small businesses are the economic engine of our state,” said Betty Jo Toccoli, President of the California Small Business Association. Los Tres Cochinitos was celebrated for their successful small business and contributions to the community.”
Located in Wilmington, Los Tres Cochinitos is a family owned restaurant established in 1973 that is known for their traditional Mexican food and fresh seafood. Los Tres Cochinitos has also sponsored major community-led events with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, the Port of Los Angeles, and I Heart Wilmington just to name a few.
