Gipson welcomes new class of Assemblymembers
SACRAMENTO, Calif --- Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson (D-Carson) was tapped today by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount) as Democratic Caucus Chair following the opening of a new legislative session of the California State Assembly.
“It is a true honor to be named to this position to work alongside Speaker Rendon in guiding California toward a brighter future,” stated Gipson. “I gladly commit to furthering the priorities of the caucus and I look forward to providing support to the incoming class of new members.”
Gipson was first chosen by Speaker Rendon for this position in June 2016. As Caucus Chair he will continue to play a pivotal role in moving the Democratic agenda forward through caucus meetings and policy summits.
