Assemblymember Mike Gipson held a press conference to propose state funding to address the pressing issues surrounding the lack of maternity care in South LA. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital remains as one of the last standing in the area, leaving residents and expecting mothers without access to essential healthcare.
