Southern California Gas Company On-site Work Tour

Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson participates in an on-site tour of a $17 million Pipeline Project that replaces the existing pipe for safety and modernization purposes.  The proposed project seeks to fulfill a ruling by the California Public Utilities Commission for all natural gas transmission operators in California to develop an implementation plan to test existing lines that have not been pressure-tested. Today's project replaces the existing pipeline to make sure homes, businesses, schools and hospitals are appropriately and safely powered by natural gas.
