It's Tax Season!

As you begin to prepare your taxes, I would like to share with you that the state legislature recently expanded the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC) for those earning $22,300 or less, including W-2 wages and self-employment income.

If you qualify for the CalEITC and the amount of the credit is greater than the tax you owe, you will receive a refund.

Additionally, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is once again offering free tax help to those who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their taxes.
