(Carson, Ca) – California State Assemblymember Mike Gipson (D-Carson) held a swearing-in ceremony in Carson surrounded by family, friends and supporters. It may be Assemblymember Gipson’s first term in state-wide office, but he brings a wealth of experience at the local level that uniquely qualifies him to serve his community and the 64th Assembly District. Born and raised in Watts, Assemblymember Gipson is a former police office, youth pastor, city councilmember and more.
