Compton, Calif. (March 17, 2023) --- Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson, chair of the California Assembly Democratic Caucus, will host the Clean California Community Days – Spring into Action on March 25th from 9 AM – 2 PM at Compton College in partnership with Cal Trans, Compton College, and Mayor Emma Sharif.

Since launching Clean California in 2021, Caltrans has removed nearly 1.4 million cubic yards of litter from state highways - the equivalent of more than 23,000 tons or enough trash to fill more than 420 Olympic-Size swimming pools and created more than 800 new jobs.
