The purpose of the “I Heart 65” awards is to celebrate and honor our community members that have had a positive influence in the 65th Assembly District. The award highlights individuals/groups for their outstanding contribution to their community. But we need your help. We want you to nominate people you think is deserving of this recognition. The 65th Assembly District includes the communities of Carson, Compton, Gardena, Harbor Gateway, Lynwood, North Long Beach, Rancho Dominguez, South Los Angeles, Torrance, Watts/Willowbrook and Wilmington.
