Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva Adjourns the Assembly in Honor of Delia Mary Hernández

(Sacramento) - Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk Silva (D-Orange County) and the California State Assembly adjourned its January 31, 2019 floor session in the memory of Delia Mary Hernandez, a long-time resident of the cities of Buena Park, and Fullerton. “Delia taught her children the importance of having compassion for those less fortunate,” Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva said during her tribute to Delia Hernandez. “Delia volunteered with the Society of St. Vincent De Paul by delivering boxes of food to needy families in the community, held prayer groups at her home, and prepared food for grieving families with the women’s group known as the “Marthas."
