My office is now accepting nominations for the "Women of Distinction - 65th Assembly District" recognition ceremony. I would like your help in identifying exceptional women from our district. The ceremony will take place in March, commonly recognized as "Women's History Month."

I respectfully ask you to take the time to nominate an exceptional woman who lives or works within the 65th Assembly District; someone who has made a significant contribution in one of the below areas to our community or has had a meaningful impact in your life.

  • Business
  • Community service
  • Education
  • Health services
  • Military
  • Under 30
  • Sports

The deadline to nominate someone is Friday, February 23, 2018 and forms can be submitted via post mail, email, online, fax, or in-person. A reception honoring the 65th Assembly District Women of Distinction will be held in March 10, at 2:30 p.m. More details to follow. Please check back.

Nominees must live, volunteer, or work in the 65th Assembly District, which includes the Orange County communities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Fullerton, Garden Grove, La Palma, and Stanton. To confirm the nominee lives or works in the district, visit http://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/.
